Back in 1994 when the commercial internet was just beginning to grow into the World Wide Web we recognise today, we needed to create a web site for a community organisation that was just a little different from a growing number of other web sites with similar information to impart. At the same time the web site had promote their particular services to the public and provide information for members.

Having achieved that goal, and with a wealth of experience born from retailing, office management, television post-production, graphics design, desktop publishing, maintaining and servicing desktop computer systems and the daily running of a small business - K1W1 DESIGN was launched.

Being a small business we know and understand the needs and wants of small businesses. We also know that you cannot be an expert at everything and of course there are the necessities and restrictions involved in managing a small business.

We use the latest technologies to create web sites, but the real essence is the interactivity of you and us, and of course original creativity to design a website that stands out from the crowd.

In case you were wondering, the name k1w1 comes from the owner being a former New Zealander, commonly known as kiwis. Nowadays the owner is an australian citizen and resides in Brisbane, Australia.
